Larsen have, over the last twenty years, developed underpinning techniques which have led to house owners, consulting engineers, insurance companies (including NHBC and Homebond) using them as the contractor of choice in Ireland and the United Kingdom. Our piling teams have undertaken in house and external training on piling and construction techniques including Approved Installer status by Helifix. Our staff have worked on projects dealing with subsidence and cracking to properties, failure of existing foundations, properties suffering from pyrite issues for extensions, single dwellings, apartments and infrastructural projects.
What We Do
We can offer a full underpinning package including:
- initial structural survey
- soil investigation
- underpinning design
- site preparation
- underpinning, and
- structural crack repairs.
Larsen have recently attained membership of the Association of Specialist Underpinning Contractors (ASUC plus) which is the highest accoldae for underpinning contractors and we are currently the only company in Ireland that can offer an ASUC twelve year guarantee for underpinning and structural repair works. We offer specialist, low vibration, zero spoil pile installation, with a wide range of mini piling systems to suit most requirements. We have various restricted access piling systems for working inside or close to buildings. We also offer vibration monitoring, with two stage alarm for hire, either for our own works, or as you require.

- Details of access constraints and services, if any.
- Ground conditions, if known (Site Investigation).
- Any local knowledge of ground conditions or piling.
